Recruitment Week Schedule
Monday, August 27th 2007 - 9pm: Reading of the Rules
Recruitment Week kicks off with Reading of the Rules in the chapel. This is a required event for all men going through Recruitment. The official rules for male Recruitment are read during this time, and an overview of the week's events are given. Schedules will also be handed out.

  Tuesday, August 28th 2007 - 10pm: SigEp Night Out
Each fraternity is given a "Night Out" where potential members are able to go to an off-campus location and hang out with the fraternity members to get a taste of what their fraternity life could be like. SigEp's night out will be on August 28th.

Wednesday, August 29th 2007 - 6pm: Theme Night
Wednesday is Theme Night. This is a night in which each of the fraternities carry a particular theme. Often food is prepared and activities are available for all prospective members to take part in. While this night allows free roaming of the houses, you are encouraged to visit all of the fraternities' theme nights, but are not required to do so.

Thursday, August 30th 2007 - 9pm: Sigma Phi Epsilon Preference Night
Preference Night, usually called "Pref Night," is an invitation-only formal event. This means you can only attend fraternities' Pref Nights to which you were formally invited. Invitations are placed under prospective members' dorm room doors the night before; commuter students are also notified beforehand. During Pref Night, final presentations are given by the fraternities in the hopes that prospective members will accept their invitations to join their chapter the following night.

Friday, August 31st 2007 - 6pm: Bid Day
Bid Day is the final event of IFC Recruitment. You will meet in the chapel to receive envelopes containing the invitations from the fraternities who wish you to join them in their brotherhoods. Once you have made your decision, you will walk to the front door, check your choice in with the Greek Life Advisor, and exit the chapel. Upon exiting the chapel, you will run right to your new brothers.

If you have any further questions, or would like to request an IFC Greek Recruitment Form, you can contact Vice President of Recruitment Anthony Johnson at ajohnsonspe@gmail.com.
